Job Overview

We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Renters Insurance Manager to oversee sales, operations, and client relations in the renters insurance division. The role involves managing a team of agents, driving growth in policy sales, ensuring compliance with insurance regulations, and providing exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of renters/property insurance policies, and a proven background in insurance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales and retention targets for renters insurance policies.

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of insurance agents/advisors.

  • Educate clients on renters insurance coverage options and benefits.

  • Oversee underwriting, policy issuance, claims handling, and renewals.

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal insurance laws, company policies, and industry best practices.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.

  • Monitor competitors and market trends to recommend innovative product improvements.

  • Handle escalated client issues, claims disputes, and provide resolutions.

  • Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and external partners.

  • Prepare reports on sales performance, claims statistics, and business growth for senior management.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.

  • Experience: 35 years of experience in insurance management, preferably renters or property insurance.

  • Strong knowledge of renters insurance policies, claims management, and underwriting.

  • Proven leadership and team management experience.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.
