Job description

Executive Producer; Glory Franchise

Reach Game Studios is looking for a lead/executive producer to work on the studio's upcoming FPS RPG, GLORY and shape the franchise going forward.

Responsibilities:

As executive producer you will be responsible for:

  • Along with the guidance of senior leadership and the Board, overseeing the development of Glory as a franchise, including our flagship debut title, Glory, as well as ancillary products within the brand.
  • Providing outstanding leadership and mentorship, motivating a talented team of designers, artists, and engineers on an ambitious title.
  • Working collaborately with the leadership team and line producers to budget, scope, schedule and deliver key milestones.
  • Working closely with the key creative team (including the Creative and Art Directors to name a few) to align the development vision with creative vision, as well as the goals for the franchise.
  • Being central to the recruitment process and providing help, insight, and consulting the relevant team members during the process. Identify top talent and the need for talent openings.
  • Communicating the progress of development to the key stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicating the entire project vision to the collective team, and ensure consistency throughout the entire team.
  • Introducing and implementing methodology to improve efficiency and productivity, while maintaining the key culture of the studio.
Requirements:

For this role we are looking for:

  • A demonstrated experience in game production or creative product management (e.g. app development), we are curently not seeing hard product management.
  • A demonstrated experience devising and implementing business plans, product pitches and/or a familiarity or experience with developing original intellectual property.
  • A familiarity with game production processes and the various methodologies used, as well as knoweldge about when and where to implement methodologies that improve studio output.
  • A creative leader and driven communicator who can effectively communicate various aspects of the business and development to the right people.
  • A background encompassing creative work, business-driven production with management experience.
  • A passion for videogames, and a solid understanding of the industry, including all the various aspects of game production (including budgeting, scheduling, HR, design, art, animation, localisation and QA, and third-party liaising and timeline management).
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Remuneration:

The position is currently a contract royalty-based position, with view to full-time employment post-launch. The contract also includes immediate stock options with bonus options following on-time release.

Contract amount is competitive and negotiable.

Location:

While we prioritize Australian/New Zealand applicants, we are a remote studio and consider international applications.
