  • Maintain project materials, coordinate equipment and resource logistics, and ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of material handling installation experience

  • 3-5 years of experience leading small installation teams

  • HS diploma or equal

  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician

  • Proficient at reading & comprehending construction blue prints

  • Proficient at reading & comprehending NEC and Customer specifications

  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, Servos, Motors, Control Panels, IO, etc.

  • Knowledge and Adherence of Electrical Safety Standards (LOTO, NFPA 70E)

  • Power tool, forklift, & manlift operations and their specific safety standards.

  • Experience with Electrical testing equipment

  • Ability to troubleshoot 480VAC & 24VDC control systems

  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, & results focused

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30 Certified

  • Experience managing & teaching small installation teams

  • Sorter installation & maintenance experience

  • Experience with parcel MH installation

  • Experience with distribution & fulfillment MH installation

  • Experience with managing subcontractors

  • Proficient with MH Office Suites

  • High functioning & exceptional multi-tasker

Job Functions:

  • Embrace, enforce, & live a superior safety culture

-Conduct weekly toolbox talks with installation team

-Complete daily job-hazard analyses (JHAs)

-Complete daily applicable work permits: hot-work, confined space, and arc flash permits.

  • Recognize & report incidents, violations, near-misses, & injuries

  • Stand ready, competent, and capable of self-executing project tasks and install activities

  • Be able, & competent to conduct electrical installations to include:

-Conduit and raceway Installations

-Device Installations

-Terminating Field devices and Control panels

-Fire Systems & Alarms

-Electrical power Installations

-Data, Networking & CCTV Installations

  • Own project installation quality for self-executed projects

  • Coordinate with LPS Field Coordinator on receipt of, maintenance of, and removal of:

-Rental equipment – fork-lifts, cranes, scissor lifts, etc.

-Waste receptacles & dumpsters

-Recyclable material receptacles & dumpsters

-Onsite toilettes & wash stations

-First aid kits, PPE inventory, and safety fencing, screens, or curtains

-Expendables, fuel, tooling, etc.

  • Manage small install team and execute agreed upon implementation plan to ensure on-time completion to ensure on-time completion.

  • Track & report installation team working hours, manpower onsite, and visitor access to project.

  • Receive & document incoming project materials, deliveries, and coordinate outgoing shipments of materials.

  • Maintain 100% accountability of project materials – including whereabouts, quality, inventory, and installation.

  • Report discrepancies early, accurately, & effectively to ensure project schedule isn't implicated

  • Report progress, known issues, change requests, deviations, materials received, and manpower daily to LPS Electrical Installation Manager.

-Monitor & report regular percentage of completion.

-Monitor & report work schedules, work schedule restrictions, and changes to work windows

-Provide detailed descriptions of work completed to LPS Electrical Installation

-Manager for communication to customers & project manager

-Understand and enforce FORTNA standards

-Understand and enforce customer specifications

-Understand, recognize, and enforce OSHA and industry standards

  • Conduct and collect electrical red-lines throughout the project and communicate changes to planned install to project engineers at closing of the project.

  • Manage installers to maintain the project schedule and help reduce escalating project costs.
