Fliff unpacks sports gaming into social, freetoplay games for all types of sports fans. Weve built a social sports gaming experience that allows users to compete for leaderboard positioning, to achieve badges and build their status within the game.

We are pioneering playforfun sports gaming, with our flagship social sportsbook experience that includes sweepstakes promotions and loyalty rewards. We provide sports fans with fun, engaging, and freetoplay alternatives to real money gaming.

Fliff is looking for a React Native Engineer to join our Fantasy team and help build worldclass mobile experiences for millions of sports fans. You’ll work as part of a crossfunctional team focused on delivering highquality, reliable features on both iOS and Android.
This role is ideal for someone with strong fundamentals in React Native who’s ready to deepen their experience by working on a hightraffic consumer app in a fastpaced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:Build and maintain userfacing features in React Native across iOS and Android platforms.
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to define and deliver impactful features.
Write clean, maintainable, and welltested code with an emphasis on performance and usability.
Work with RESTful APIs and realtime data via WebSockets.
Participate in code reviews and receive mentorship from senior engineers to continue growing your skills.
Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues in production and preproduction environments.

What Were Looking For:
2–4 years of experience in software development, including handson experience with React Native.
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and a working knowledge of TypeScript (5.0).
Familiarity with React fundamentals: functional components, hooks (useState, useEffect), and componentbased architecture.
Experience working with mobile state management libraries (e.g., Redux or Context API).
Comfortable consuming REST APIs using axios or fetch.
Basic understanding of GraphQL and Apollo Client.
Exposure to WebSocketbased data or realtime updates.
Familiarity with React Navigation and codesplitting techniques.
Basic understanding of mobile performance optimization and responsive design principles.
Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., React DevTools, Chrome Debugger).
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Interest or experience in the sports betting or fantasy sports industry.

Nice to Have:
Experience with common testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Detox.
Comfortable using design tools like Figma or Zeplin for implementing UI specs.
Debugging native code in AndroidStudio and XCode.
Familiarity of analytic tools (DataDog, MixPanel, Google Analytics, etc).
Experience with chat integration.
Integration with Sentry or other crash analytics tools.

The annual salary for this role ranges from $130,000 to $145,000 depending on experience and background.
