About the role
The Senior Director, Project Deliveryis a proven leader capable of direct client counsel and orchestrating the agency’s resources to deliver outstanding work that surpasses customer expectations. The Senior Director will have responsibility across one or more agency books of business and is expected to work closely with their agency counterparts (Account, Creative, Strategy, Technology, and Finance) to create space for great ideas, work, and results.
The position has formal personnel management responsibilities within the Project Delivery team. This includes setting goals, monitoring performance, coaching in realtime and developing talent.
What youll do
External Client
Works closely with clients to understand their business and objectives
Oversees the organization and prioritization of work across client workstreams
Oversees work that has been kicked off and is in motion at the agency for one or more books of business
Solicits client direction and input; manage client expectations
Delivers high quality work that exceeds client expectations
Financial management including pricing, budget management, reconciliation, and billing
Internal Team
Partners with Account, Creative, Finance, Strategy and Technology counterparts to actively manage an agency book of business
Identifies and secure agency resources to execute work
Delivers high quality work that exceeds client expectations
Drives business value through a prioritized backlog based on the overall strategy and business objectives
Maps out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of work
Acts as primary liaison between internal stakeholders and internal teams
Ensures stakeholders are aligned on all major decisions; provide clear instructions and deliverables for agency counterparts
Responsible for the financial performance of a book of business
Manages the triangle of scope, budget, and time, weighing priorities according to the needs and objectives of stakeholders
Lead a project delivery team to guide their daytoday contributions and ongoing professional development
Help shape the structure and process of agency and project delivery team initiatives to support future growth
Participates in setting project delivery strategy
About you
10 or more years of experience managing client relationships and work product delivery in a professional services environment
Experience managing client projects generating a minimum of $10M of revenue in a professional services environment
Strategic, consultative presence with a problemsolving mentality
Advanced project management skill set (processes and tools) including Agile
Strong financial acumen including ability to scope work, manage budgets and billing
Demonstrated ability to drive financial outcomes for the agency
Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing is preferred
Prior experience managing staff with an interest in coaching and growing talent
Effective communicator with internal and external clients
