Job description

Job Summary:
The Associate Director of Data Science will lead advanced analytics and data science initiatives to support strategic business goals. This role involves managing a team of data scientists and analysts, developing AIML models, and driving datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. The Associate Director will collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, and stakeholders to design innovative solutions that improve efficiency, customer experience, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and analysts.
· Define and execute the data science strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
· Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable machine learning and AI models for business applications.
· Partner with business units to identify opportunities for leveraging data science to drive impact.
· Provide technical leadership on statistical modeling, predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI projects (as applicable).
· Establish best practices for model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
· Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure robust data pipelines and infrastructure.
· Present insights, models, and results to executive leadership and nontechnical stakeholders.
· Stay current with emerging data science technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications & Skills:
· 10+ years of experience in data scienceadvanced analytics, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
· Proven track record in applying machine learning, deep learning, and statistical methods to solve business problems.
· Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Scala, and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikitlearn, etc.).
· Handson experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
· Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, etc.).
· Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
