Lead UI Designer

About this job

We are looking for a fulltime Lead UI Designer with strong design fundamentals and aesthetic sense and experience in leading the UI for multiple digital products. The location could be Ahmedabad Pune Remote.

What you will be doing

• Design Operations initiatives to optimize the way design projects are executed and managed.
• Building and mentoring a competitive team which is capable of delivering international quality work.
• Work with a team, delegation of work, mentoring and direction.
• Defining visual language for products based on their brand language
• Designing design system guidelines for the product to be used across the entire product and various platforms like web and mobile
• To add delight to products by designing elements like icons, illustrations, animation, etc. based on the product visual language
• Consult various designers internally for the visual design direction of the products they might be designing

  Must Haves

  • 10+ years of experience, not including schooling.
  • A degree from a design school or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communicator. You must be fluent in speaking and writing English
  • Outstanding portfolio showing handson UI track record.
  • Experience designing stunning UI for enterprise webmobile applications andor consumer webmobile applications
  • Expert knowledge of Interaction Design, UI Design, Motion Design, and Visual Design.
  • Proven experience of deriving visual language for products from scratch and creating design systems
  • Able to guide the team with respect to visual design direction
  • Good with illustration and motion design (nice to have)
  • Expert at tools such as Figma and Illustrator
  • Experience working with remote team
  • Able to multitask and work on multiple products at once.
  • Requires very little direction.
