Extensive experience in IBM Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, SQL, and VSAM.
Strong command over SQL, with the ability to understand and develop complex SQL queries.
Good exposure to SDLC processes and ability to handle all phases independently.
Proficiency in REXX and experience developing tools and utilities using REXX.
Requirements:
Perform Mainframe Application Assessments from a technical feasibility perspective.
Understand requirements, prepare impact analysis, and create program specification documents.
Provide Mainframe Batch Support and maintain REXX tools and utilities.
Communicate with clients, report status, and work independently.

Should have a good command over SQL and should be able to understand the existing developed SQLs and also develop new complex SQLs

Should be aware of all Quality Process being followed
Should be in a position to understand the requirement and prepare the impact analysis and program specification document followed by completing the BUT
Should have extensive Mainframe Batch Support experience.
Should well versed with REXX and should be proactive to develop small tools and utilities using REXX
Should have a good exposure to REXX to maintain the REXX tools developed for the account
Should be proactive and should have good communication skills
Should have experience in client communication and client status reporting and working independently
Having Banking domain background is added advantage
