Job description

Were VOID Interactive, the kickass team behind the bestselling FPS game, Ready or Not. Were made up of some seriously talented individuals who love games and creating awesome content together. We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Gaming QA Specialist to join us remotely and help us elevate Ready or Not to new heights. Our goal is strong: to establish Ready or Not as the quintessential FPS of our time.

As a Gaming QA Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our games. You will work closely with our development team to identify, document, and track issues throughout the development process to ensure a polished and enjoyable gaming experience for our players.


In this role, youll be in charge of:

  • Collaborating with the development team to understand game design and functionality requirements.
  • Creating detailed test plans and test cases based on game design documents and specifications.
  • Executing test cases to identify bugs and issues in the game software.
  • Documenting and tracking bugs and issues using bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
  • Working closely with developers to reproduce and isolate issues for resolution.
  • Providing clear and concise reports on the status of testing and identified issues.
  • Collaborating with other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participating in regression testing and other quality assurance activities as needed.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in gaming QA.

      • Demonstrated expertise in gaming QA, showcasing a keen eye for detail, functionality, and player experience.
      • 3+ years of handson quality assurancetesting experience within the gaming industry essential.
      • Enthusiastic about embracing new software tools and technologies to enhance testing capabilities and stay at the forefront of industry trends.
      • Indepth familiarity with Unreal Engine, essential for executing tasks efficiently within the development pipeline.
      • Capable of working autonomously with a high level of selfdirection and motivation, ensuring consistent progress and quality in assigned tasks.
      • Demonstrates a natural inclination towards creativity coupled with strong problemsolving skills.
      • Excellent communication skills and adept time management abilities, facilitating seamless collaboration and efficient task completion.
      • Proven ability to collaborate within a team environment, thriving under deadlines and time constraints while maintaining a positive and constructive attitude.
