About the Team

As a collaborative, remotefirst team spanning 5 continents, the User Applications Team at ProtexAI builds endtoend solutions with shared responsibility. We collectively develop dependable systems that power global safety operations, ensuring our solutions remain effective and supportive at scale.

Team members contribute to architecture decisions and product evolution, helping shape the future of workplace safety technology together. We value both innovation and care through thoughtful CICD processes, supportive testing frameworks, and collaborative performance improvements that maintain system integrity.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has knowledge in cloud technologies like serverless, microservices architecture, PostgreSQL, database management, and container applications using Kubernetes or equivalent.

• Has worked with AWS services or equivalent, including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway, alongside building monitoring systems (using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).

• Is experienced with JavaScript backend frameworks like Node.js, Express, NestJS, or similar, and understands effective approaches for building and nurturing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Is open to exploring different technologies, connecting with the code to support progress, and contributing across domains—whether its generative AI, Frontend Infrastructure, enhancing system performance, or building bridges across teams to create solutions together.

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or similar certifications.

  • Balances both technical depth and teamwork skills, including fostering relationships with stakeholders, participating in crossteam collaboration (especially with Computer Vision teams), and supporting troubleshooting across the entire stack.

  • Experience in designing reliable, responsive systems, with understanding of distributed systems, service coordination, and resilience.
