Our engineering team is currently a small, tightknit and highly productive group. As an early member of the engineering team, you’ll be directly involved in making and executing technical decisions, as well as interfacing with our product team to understand business needs better. We all currently work across the stack to build out new features, and optimize our current solution to offer the best possible experience to our users.
Develop, design, create, modify, andor test desktop and mobile web software applications or systems.
Architect efficient and reusable frontend systems that drive complex web applications.
Implement features and user interfaces to optimize performance of userfacing products.
Interface with new and existing customers and company stakeholders to understand business needs and identify potential technical solutions.
Collaborate with other engineers by engaging in agile best practices like peer code reviews and documentation.
Create the build specs and PRD for projects.
Lead a project from PRD to deployment, with a team of both backend and front end engineers, ensuring code quality, testing, and confirming code in production.
5+ years of experience
3+ years specifically owning a ReactNextJS project (typescript is a plus)
Has experience with scaling front end statecache and can deal with loading a large amount of data into the product.
Takes the initiative to make overall code quality updates to the codebase
Experience owning the UI of a large productfeature from start to finish. Think “Integrate with a 3rd party provider to create a full online ordering flow within our app”.
Very strong communication and understanding of how the front end relates to backend data and API calls.
Works at a fast pace and understands how to decrease scope at a project level (trim down excessive UI)
You have a passion for consumer brands.
You enjoy keeping up with NextJS updates, new features and solving tricky NextJS issues!
You have a strong interest in loyalty programs.
