This person will collaborate closely with our outsourced accounting partners to ensure clean, organized reporting and provide the financial insights that drive decision-making across the business.

Must-haves:
3+ years of experience in a financial or accounting operations role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets/Excel, and comfort navigating multi-tab financial models.
Proven ability to clean, map, and categorize financial data for use in monthly reporting and decision-making
Experience managing cost allocations across business units, locations, or channels.
Strong English communication skills and ability to flag inconsistencies or questionable margins/data trends
Core Tasks:
Book Close Support:Collaborate with outsourced accountants to support monthly financial close by cleaning and organizing transactional data, including proper cost classification for D2C, community, and gifting efforts.
Royalty & Revenue Reconciliation:Maintain and reconcile monthly royalty reports across 7+ markets, summarizing net sales, collected payments, and royalty obligations. Ensure proper documentation and upload of summaries for bookkeeping.
P&L Consolidation & Income Statement Tracking:Download and map state-specific income statements from QuickBooks and consolidate them into a master P&L tracker segmented by class (market/channel). Maintain accuracy in account classifications and support monthly uploads.
3PL Cost Allocation:Review 3PL invoices and break down shipping and fulfillment costs for appropriate categorization (e.g., COGs vs. community tactics) to ensure margin accuracy and reduce bookkeeping errors.
Ongoing Financial Ops Support:Maintain trackers for accounts receivable, COGs updates, and royalty payments. Prepare key financial summaries for internal and investor use.
Nice-to-haves:
Familiarity with cannabis/hemp industry or similarly regulated verticals
Experience working with Shopify, 3PL invoices, or eCommerce operations
Exposure to basic dashboard or KPI scorecard creation using tools like Google Data Studio or Looker Studio
Understanding of financial KPIs such as gross margin, AR/AP, and net revenue by market
Experience collaborating with U.S.-based outsourced accounting teams
