As a Disaster Dispatch & Recovery Independent Contractor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families during some of their most vulnerable moments. Whether you’re helping someone reconnect with loved ones or offering comfort to disaster survivors, your presence will make a difference. This isn’t just a role — it’s a calling. What’s Next?

To be considered, you must first be invited to go through our tryout phase assessments (this correspondence will come via email if selected). You must complete an assessment, pre engagement certification and post engagement certification if selected. Requirements
  • Excellent verbal communication skills including correct grammar and pronunciation along with tone and pitch
  • Ability to remain poised under pressure for back to back calls
  • Ability to show empathy for a callers frustrations or concerns and resolve the issue in a timely manner along with the ability to show empathy for those that may be feeling frustrated or anxious
  • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and resourceful under pressure
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and multitask while navigating through multiple programs and information
  • Ability to use a computer quickly and accurately
  • Must possess the ability to remain poised in high stress situations
  • Documentation, data entry, organization and problem-solving skills are desirable
  • Ability to handle detailed work with a high degree of accuracy and speed
  • Legally able to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Job details (what you will be doing)

  • Answer and handle calls per call handling job tools
  • Collect, verify and log accurate data: such as name, phone number, address, dates and caller issues
  • Determine caller needs via active listening and probing questions
  • Provide valid resources and referrals using system provided tools
  • Fill out or provide client links for Financial assistance pre-eligibility applications



Pay Rate

  • $15.00 per hour
  • Independent Contractor position (1099)
  • Paid once per month as an independent contractor (paid out on the 10th of the following month)
  • Monthly success bonus opportunity!!! 



Technical Requirements

  • Laptop or Desktop Computer running Windows 10. WE DO NOT SUPPORT MACs, Chromebooks or Tablet/iPads
  • High-speed Internet via a hard wired ethernet connection, no Wi-Fi, satellite or cellular hotspot or cellular internet (DSL or Cable)
  • US based Internet service provider (ISP); NO T-MOBILE HOME INTERNET
  • Current antivirus and antispyware
  • Installed, operational firewall
  • USB wired headset with noise-canceling microphone
  • Currently, Apple computers or tablets (Mac laptop, iPads or desktops), Windows Mini PCs/streaming laptops, Notebooks, Chromebook, and Android systems are NOT compatible with any of our client’s software.
