Job description

Job Title: Eclipse RCP and Xtext Developer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing highquality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

EssentialDesirable Skills and Experience:To be successful in this role you will bring 4 to 8 years of experience along with the following skill:
§ Java, Eclipse IDE, Eclipse RCP, SWT, Xtext, JFace, PlugIns, Views, Editors, data modelling, design patterns.
§ Bonus Experience: Maven, Spring, Struts 2, Hibernate, SQL, jQuery, AJAX, HTML,CSS.
§ You must possess strong analytical skills, be a fast learner and be able to hit the ground running.
§ Experience with realtime messaging and communication protocols also an advantage.
§ Ability to work independently and multi task effectively in designing, developing coding, debugging and testing

RESPONSIBILITY
§ Collaborate with the Development team in drafting and developing Eclipse RCP application and developing or working on xtext project
§ Take a proactive role in the design and development of the product based on the specifications.
§ Assist in the setting up and maintenance of Development, QA and Production environments.
§ Apply software changes in line with our change control procedure as the product evolves.
§ Assist in the analysis of problems and new requirements to write the clean and optimal code.
§ Assisting in architectural decisions where requested.
