Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analytics and a strong desire to work with big data to create meaningful insights that drive business decisions. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing statistical models, Machine Learning Deep Learning Models, data visualizations, and predictive analytics to solve complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyse large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
2. Perform Data preprocessing techniques such as feature engineering, data cleaning, and data normalization specific to the project for development & deployment
3. Design, Develop and implement predictive models to improve business outcomes and provide insights to key stakeholders
4. Design and implement known validation & tests to evaluate the effectiveness of different models and algorithms
5. Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure highquality data inputs and outputs
6. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement datadriven solutions
7. Create data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to nontechnical stakeholders
8. Stay up to date with the latest data science tools and techniques and identify opportunities to apply them to solve business problems
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
2. 35 years of experience in data science or related field
Must Technical Skills:
1. Strong programming skills in Python or R
2. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
3. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI or Plotly etc
4. Familiarity with structured, unstructured, and database management example SQL
5. Knowledge of deep learning frameworks example TensorFlow or PyTorch
6. Ability to design and implement known tests to evaluate the effectiveness of different models and algorithms
7. Experience with data preprocessing techniques such as feature engineering, data cleaning, and data normalization
8. Familiarity with timeseries analysis and forecasting techniques
9. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Optional)
10. Familiarity with PowerPoint would be handy
