Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Practical experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
  • Expertise in AWS services such as IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda.
  • Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or TravisCI.

Requirements:

  • Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and infrastructure as code.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS and containerization tools.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure operational reliability.

Job description

Must have ·
· A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via Bash, Python, Ruby, etc)
· Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (KubernetesECS)
· Expertise with AWS (e.g. IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda)
· Strong Version control system experience (e.g. Git)
· Deep Experience implementing CICD (e.g. Jenkins, TravisCI, GitLb CI)
· Operational (e.g. HABackups) NoSQL experience (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis)
· Experience with configuration management tools Chef is a must.
· Experience with infrastructureascode (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation)
· Familiar with software security best practices
· Understanding of monitoring tools (Pagerduty, CloudWatch, Datadog, Sentry, etc)
· Bachelor or master’s degree in CS, or equivalent practical experience
· Strong understanding of microservices and related architectures is a big plus
