Roles & Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
Experience of up to 8 years in device testing and debugging.
Knowledge of 2G/3G/LTE/NB IoT technologies and message exchange protocols.
Proficiency in log analysis, debugging tools like QXDM/QCAT/QPST, and network trace analysis.

Requirements:

Perform device testing, debugging, and issue analysis.
Analyze SIM and modem interface messages and call flows.
Develop and own test cases, and draft test reports for stakeholders.
Manage defect lifecycle and coordinate with teams for issue resolution.

Job description

Please find the JD below:
Hands on device side testing, debugging and issue analysis
Ability to understand SIM<>Modem interface and message exchange
Demonstrated understanding on 2G3GLTENB IoT technology with knowledge of NASRRC layers log analysis w.r.t call flow
Understanding on NBIoTIoT ( 3GPP Release 13 and onwards) preferable
Must have basic knowledge of UE testing with debugging skills for device troubleshooting and log analysis
AT commandslinux commands, linux based os and debugging skills
Must have handson on Modem logging (QXDMQCATQPST) or proprietary tools for varied chipsets like MediaTek (Genie logger)
Must have handson with Wiresharkpcap traces including TCPIP and UDP protocols along with WAN, LAN understanding will be highly preferred
Bug life cycledefect logging
Test case development and ownership
Capability to draftshare test report with all the stake holders involved and own the defect life cycle
ProActive ability to learn with minimum supervision is highly desired
Overall Experience: Max 8 +years
