DevOpsSystem Engineer – Senior

Overview

SOFTSWISS is hiring a Senior DevOpsSystem Engineer to join our DataOps team.

Purpose of the Role

You’ll work on data infrastructure and CICD systems, driving stability, automation, and scalability for our data platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Communication and collaboration with the product development team and stakeholders.
• Set up and maintain infrastructure and services for productionstaging environments.
• Support and development of Gitlab CI pipelines.
• React to monitoring events (periodical daynight duties).
• Improve infrastructure setup and maintenance processes.
• Participate in the design of complex IT systems.

• Technology Stack
  Saltstack, Pulumi, Kubernetes, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Kafka, GitLab, Vault, Prometheus + Grafana, Zabbix, ELK.

  Required Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a System Engineer or SREDevOps.
  • Good understanding of Linuxlike operating systems (Administration and troubleshooting).
    
  • Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible Saltstack Terraform Pulumi).
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus stackZabbix).
  • Experience with configuring Gitlab CICD pipelines.
  • Experience with Clickhouse administration.
  • Experience with Postgres administration.
  • Experience with Kafka administration.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in Russian, English B1+.

  • Nice to Have

    • Experience with Spark, Trino, DataHub, or Tableau set up and administration.
    • Experience with Vault, Elasticsearch, or domain management.
    • Demonstrated ability to leverage AIpowered tools and platforms to optimise workflows and support decisionmaking.
