DevOpsSystems Engineer

Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Senior DevOpsSystems Engineer. We need a skilled, proactive, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values and is ready to contribute to the development of cuttingedge gaming solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaboration with product teams
• Participate in the launch of new projects and new features
• Participate in the design of complex information systems
• Automate infrastructure components
• Setup and maintain infrastructure
• Consult managers and company clients
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Looking for opportunities for improvement
• Analysis of alternative solutions

• Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering or a similar role such as SRE or DevOps
  • Proficient with Linuxbased operating systems
  • Experience with configuration management systems (Puppet Chef Ansible Saltstack)
  • Experience with major cloud service providers (AWS GCP Azure Oracle Cloud Alibaba Cloud)
  • Development skills in Bash, Python
  • Basic knowledge of working with frontend
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Good knowledge and experience in the CICD process (Gitlab CI)
  • Experience with distributed systems
  • Experience in information system design
  • Experience with Postgresql (Patroni)
  • Intermediate or higher English and Russian (B1+)

  • Nice to have:

    • Familiarity with modern AIpowered tools and their use in daily engineering workflows
    • Experience in creating a geodistributed monitoring system
    • Development skills in Go
    • Architectural ability to participate in designing complex, highly available,
      and geodistributed systems and the readiness to argue decisions
