We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Deputy Manager for Taxation & Accounts within our global manufacturing firm. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance & Accounts, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all financial transactions align with tax requirements and regulations, including both direct and indirect taxes. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder and vendor management skills and will be able to provide excellent business support. Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounting entries in alignment with tax provisions for each state Manage both direct and indirect taxation requirements and filings Effective stakeholder and vendor management and communication Provide highlevel business support and collaborate effectively with other teams within the organization Ensure timely closure of books of accounts with zero errors in accordance with reporting timelines and the company’s standards Assist with the statutory audit process and provide data and address audit queries as required Prepare all necessary monthly MIS reports and other taxation reports for CFO and management as required Manage compliance processes and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements Prepare and provide various MIS reports to management as needed Requirements: CAInter CAMasters in Finance 46 years of experience in the manufacturing industry Indepth knowledge of GST and Income Tax laws Strong experience with accounting operations, budgets, and MIS Handson experience with SAP is a must Excellent numerical skills, as well as effective interpersonal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with all teams within the organization Ability to stay current with industry regulations and best practices As Senior Manager for Taxation & Accounts, you will be responsible for ensuring all accounting transactions align with tax requirements tracking accountability in accordance with expected standards. You will also be responsible for managing both direct and indirect taxation requirements as well as providing highlevel support to the business and collaborating effectively with all teams. Candidates must have at least 46 years of manufacturing industry experience with indepth knowledge of GST and Income Tax laws. Additionally, successful candidates must possess excellent numerical skills, interpersonal communication skills, and a collegial approach to work.
