SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer who wants to spend ~20% of their time contributing to our codebase and the majority of their time on DevRel work.

As a senior DevRel engineer, you’ll use creativity, technical chops, and enthusiasm to inspire developers to build great things with Rasa. We believe that spending part of your time contributing code is a good source of inspiration, and a good opportunity to ship improvements to the developer experience.

You will be reporting to the cofounder CTO.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re a startup, so you’ll have to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever is required to support our mission.

As a Senior Engineer, Developer Relations, your mission is to empower developers to build something with Rasa that they are proud of. Youll make an impact on your team by taking on the following responsibilities:

• Building cool things with Rasa and adjacent technologies, sharing the code and producing compelling content around it.

• ~20% of your time contributing to our core codebase & influencing our product roadmap.

• Creating benchmarks and demos to illustrate the advantages of Rasa’s CALM approach.

• Building relationships with adjacent technologies (speech APIs, LLM providers, vector DBs, etc) and cocreating content to broaden our audience.

• Staying uptodate with AIML social media and contributing to the conversation.

• Producing educational content.

• Strengthening our community (on our forum, github, youtube, social media, etc)

• ABOUT YOU

  We’re a startup, so you’ll have to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever is required to support

  • You code at a Senior Engineer level

  • You have a solid understanding of ML fundamentals & would be comfortable explaining ideas like backprop, beam search, attention, DPO, etc.

  • You have strong presentation, public speaking, and technical writing skills.

  • You can build compelling prototypes quickly.

  • You have lots of creative ideas and a good sense of what will resonate with people.

  • You are plugged into social media and know how to build an audience..

  • You are innately curious about how things work.

    This role sits within our Product department and partners directly with our Europebased team, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer Cofounder. All of Rasa’s Product department is based in Europe, while the rest of the organization, especially Marketing, is distributed across North America.
