DevOps Engineer Azure

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team and work on Workia.com, driving innovation, enhancing infrastructure, and streamlining software development lifecycles. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with Azure DevOps, a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, and some familiarity with Microsoft common tech stacks. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize workflows, ensure system reliability, and deliver highquality software products.

**Remote setting, but must be currently in Portugal. Preference in Lisbon area for location.

Requirements

WHAT YOU DO:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust Azure DevOps CICD pipelines tailored to the company’s software products.
• • Automate build, test, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure Cloud Services.
  • Evaluate and integrate new Azure services or other cloud technologies to optimize performance.
  • Partner with development teams to streamline workflows and ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and code.
  • Provide technical guidance on infrastructure architecture and best practices.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production environments hosted on cloud services.
  • • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloudbased systems.
    • Write and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages to automate repetitive tasks.
    • • Collaborate on projects requiring light .NET knowledge to enhance tools and integrations.
      • Identify and implement new tools or processes to improve development and deployments of lifecycles.
      • • Stay abreast of new Azure services and other cloud technologies, evaluating their potential benefits for the company.
          

        • WHAT YOU BRING:

          • Proven experience (23 years) as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a software development environment.
          • Handson experience with Azure Cloud Services, including setting up and managing Azure DevOps pipelines.
          • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
          • Proficiency in scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
          • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
          • Proactive and selfmotivated approach to continuous learning and process improvement.
            

          • Nice to have:

            • Experience with Git.
            • Experience with Linux OS.
            • Familiarity with .NET C# and Microsoft SQL Server.
            • Experience, or at least familiarity, with IaC Tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
