We are looking for a Night Warden for an Angel Funded, Millennial focused Real Estate Startup. The startup has grown to six properties across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune since it’s inception in 2021.
Job Profile:
Security Monitoring:
Keep a vigilant watch over the hostel premises during the night hours.
Monitor security cameras and entrances to prevent unauthorized access. Visitors are not to be allowed post23:00 Hrs
Guest Assistance:
Provide assistance to guests who may have inquiries or need help during the night.
Address students’ concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Emergency Response:
Be prepared to respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fire alarms, or other safety issues.
Coordinate with security if required and follow proper protocols.
Quiet Hours Enforcement:
Enforce quiet hours to ensure a peaceful environment for guests who are resting.
Manage noise disturbances and take appropriate actions to maintain tranquility.
Regular Rounds:
Conduct periodic rounds throughout the property to check for any security breaches, safety hazards, or unusual activities. Inspect common areas, corridors, stairwells, and other spaces for cleanliness, safety, and any maintenance issues.
Key Management:
Manage the distribution and collection of room keys during late moveins or early moveouts.
Ensure that keys are properly accounted for and returned.
Documentation:
Maintain a detailed log of incidents, actions taken, and any notable occurrences throughout the night.
Ensure accurate records are kept for future reference. Also, update the relevant excel and other reports
Guest Welfare:
Offer support to guests who may be feeling unwell, distressed, or require assistance during the night.
Fire Safety:
Ensure that fire exits are clear and accessible at all times.
Monitor smoke detectors and fire alarm systems, responding promptly to any alarms.
Communication:
Maintain open communication with other staff members, especially those starting morning shifts, to provide updates on overnight activities.
