Profitable and selffunded since the start, they’ve scaled without major layoffs and rebuilt their entire platform in 2023 to prepare for the next phase of growth. With a progressive mission supporting diverse sexualities and relationship styles, they’re now focused on scaling to 5M+ users with new features, improved matching, and modernized infrastructure.


Your Role:

As a Senior FullStack Engineer, you’ll work in a 6person squad to deliver secure, scalable features across backend services and mobile experiences. This is a backendleaning role, but mobile experience in React Native is required to succeed in a product that is mobilefirst at its core.

Key Responsibilities
    • Build and scale backend services in Node.js + TypeScript

    • Contribute to React Native features across iOS and Android

    • Design secure, testable, cloudnative systems on AWS (DynamoDB, GraphQL future)

    • Collaborate with squad leads on architecture and product design

    • Support trust, safety, and member experience through strong engineering

    • Participate in AMPM standups across global time zones

    • Ensure stability and performance at multimillion user scale

        • Requirements
            • 8+ years of software engineering, with backend depth (Node.js, TypeScript)

            • Experience with mobilefirst products (React Native required)

            • Strong AWS knowledge (DynamoDB, microservices, serverless patterns)

            • Background working on scaled consumer products (social, marketplace, or H2H apps)

            • Clear English communication for distributed, asyncfirst collaboration

            • Collaborative mindset—open to feedback, avoids rigid “my way” approaches

            • Comfort aligning with progressive, sexpositive product values
