The opportunity
Integrate our existing systems with exciting new blockchains
Design and implement lowlatency, highavailability, secure applications and data protection systems
Work on specialized hardware (HSMs) integrations
Build highly scalable, high volume services
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
Own, develop and maintain existing crypto services
Skills you should HODL
5 to 10 years of experience as a backend developer
Proficiency in Rust, or C++, Go
Experience with Blockchain daemons such as Bitcoind, Litecoind, or other crypto software
Strong foundation incryptographic concepts
Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and GNULinux
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Handson experience with distributed systems and messaging platforms such as Kafka
Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security compliance
Knowledge of scalable application design principles
Nice to haves
Senior leadership experience with mentoring abilities
Proficiency with embedded systems
Experience implementing algorithms in constrained environments
Handson knowledge of custodial cryptographic techniques
Proven track record in leading secure crypto service development
