Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B. Com, M. Com, CA Inter, MBA).
  • 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience with knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or SAGE.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office applications and cloud accounting tools like Zoho.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail, capable of working under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Manage and execute daily accounting and bookkeeping activities for multiple clients.
  • Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and adjustments.
  • Ensure timely closure of accounts and prepare financial reports in compliance with policies.
  • Assist with VAT return preparation and support team tasks as needed.

Job Description

Job Requirements:

  • To manage and execute daytoday accounting and bookkeeping activities for multiple clients.
  • Compiling and posting monthend journals, including accruals, deferred income, amortization, reclassifications, and adjustment entries.
  • Ensure accurate and timely closure of accounts by preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in compliance with approved financial policies, procedures, and client requirements.
  • Prepare and finalize UAE VAT returns for clients, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Contribute to the teams success and demonstrate teamwork by providing timely inputs to the Team Leader for efficient task completion.
  • Step in to assist Team Leader with adhoc requests and reporting needs as and when needed.

    • Qualification, Skills and Experience:

      • B. ComM. ComCA InterMBA (Accounts & Finance)
      • 23 years of experience in Bookkeeping with working knowledge of QuickBooksXeroSAGE.
      • Strong proficiency in MSOffice applications Excel, Word, Outlook, and cloud accounting applications like Zoho.
      • Ability to handle deliveries for multiple clients.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Good understanding of the processes required for KPO deliveries.
      • Ability to followup with multiple stakeholders and get things done.
      • Detailoriented and able to work under tight deadlines.
      • Expected to achieve productivity targets.
