Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the Agglayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the Agglayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widelyadopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Agglayer CDK, Polygon PoS & Katana.

Your Role

As a founding Full Stack Engineer on the Polygon Fintech Labs team, you’ll work handinhand with our Engineering Manager to build the foundation of our Financial Service application layer. Together, you’ll collaborate closely with product and design from day one to architect and ship highimpact features that bring realworld financial utility to millions of users.

You’ll build everything from backend services and wallet integrations to clean, intuitive user experiences that abstract away blockchain complexity — making stablecoin payments, programmable flows, and financial automation simple, secure, and accessible.

Your Responsibilities

• Implement wallet and transaction features that enable stablecoin payments, crosschain bridging, and programmable flows.

• Integrate thirdparty wallet SDKs and APIs from key partners like Crossmint to support onboarding, compliance flows, and seamless fiat onoff ramps.

• Develop robust backend infrastructure and services to enable secure transaction execution, smart contract interactions, and vault access.

• Collaborate closely with smart contract engineers to connect onchain logic with performant backend and frontend systems.

• Work sidebyside with frontend engineers to deliver secure, fast, and delightful user experiences.

• Contribute to architectural decisions that prioritize scalability, security, code quality, and system reliability across the stack.
  

• What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years of full stack engineering experience, ideally in crypto, fintech, or APIintensive environments.

  • Strong proficiency with modern TypeScript and frameworks such as Node.js, NestJS, or similar.

  • Handson experience integrating thirdparty SDKs (wallets, bridges, KYC tools) into productiongrade systems.

  • Solid understanding of Ethereum and EVMcompatible smart contracts and how to interact with them via backendfrontend code.

  • Familiarity with secure key management systems, vault integrations, or encrypted storage solutions.

  • Proven ability to ship clean, maintainable, productionready code in a fastpaced, collaborative setting.

    
    

  • Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with smart contract wallets or account abstraction flows.

    • Background building scalable backend services for mobilefirst applications.

    • Knowledge of crosschain bridging technologies and relayer infrastructure.
