• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
• 8 to 10 year of IT Infrastructure Support experience with minimum 3 to 4 years of experience managing the Couchbase database , AKS GKE , Terraform , Configuration Management Tool ( Ansible Puppet ) and CICD Tool like Jenkins.
• Manage the applications deployed in Kubernetes environments and take care of the scalability, replication and modularity.
• Lead root cause investigations, work with ApplicationOEM and provide closure to the observed issues in applications.
• Monitor the application performance and ensure that the required security standards are implemented and there is no breach of the set standards.
• Guide reliability practices through the entire software development lifecycle through activities like architecture reviews, code reviews, creating platforms and frameworks, capacity planning.
• Improve service reliability through blameless postincident reviews and using code to prevent or respond to problem recurrence.
• Recognize automation opportunities.
• Plug into the software release cycle. Work closely with developers to ensure software releases are well planned, implemented, released, and monitored.
• ITIL certification is a plus.
• Tier 3 Engineer attempt to duplicate problems and define root causes, using product designs, code, or specifications.
• Provide Guidance on the full cycle of cloud based solutions including tools, technologies , and best practices for development , deployment, and maintenance of cloud hosted services. Additional Comments: Azure and GCP ( AKS and GKE )
