Job description

This is a remote position.

Seeking a BIM Manager for a firm that works with clients across the United States to combat the affordable housing crisis by reimagining construction with worldclass innovation. They define success by constructability and achieve it through highly coordinated BIM models and a carefully executed quality control plan.

As a BIM Manager, you will oversee BIM standards and workflows across all our companies and teams, including Engineering, ArchitectureDesign, and IntegrationVDC. You will play a key role in maintaining and advancing our BIM standards, driving efficiency, and supporting diverse teams in delivering highquality projects. You will collaborate closely with a Dynamo scripting expert to enhance automation and streamline workflows across all teams. Your responsibilities will include:


Maintain BIMRevit Standards: Oversee the development and maintenance of BIMRevit standards, templates, and standard library content to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.

Implement Best Practices: Establish and promote best practices and guidelines that support and improve our existing project workflows, ensuring they align with industry standards.

Develop Training Resources: Create and update training materials, including software utilization workflows, to enhance the skills of various teams. Provide justintime training to address immediate project needs.

Support Diverse Teams: Assist teams across Engineering, ArchitectureDesign, and IntegrationVDC with daytoday BIMRevit activities, including resolving design and coordination issues, to ensure smooth project execution. Provide justintime training to address immediate project needs.

Promote Efficiency Tools: Partner with the Dynamo scripting expert to identify and implement tools that increase efficiency in the project delivery process.

Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up with industry best practices for virtual design and construction, incorporating new techniques and technologies to enhance productivity and project performance.



Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree in Drafting Technology or a related technical field. In lieu of a degree, additional directly related experience will be considered.

Experience:

o 5+ years of designdrafting experience with Revit.

o 2+ years of BIM coordination and management experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Autodesk packages, Bluebeam, and experience with BIM coordination tools.

Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with a Dynamo scripting expert and other team members to drive efficiency and innovation.


Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit.

Software Skills: Familiarity with Dynamo, Forge, Python, and other BIM applications.

Digital Tools: Experience with SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and the broader Microsoft Suite.


Skills and Abilities:

Project Experience: Comprehensive knowledge and multidiscipline experience in planning, designing, and constructing largescale projects.

Leadership and Communication: Strong selfleadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels.

Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to be a flexible team player and adapt to changing project requirements.
