About the Position and the Team

We’re hiring a Technical Product Owner to lead the vision and execution of our AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI capabilities. In this role, you’ll guide cross-functional teams in embedding AI capabilities across multiple products from intelligent automation to predictive insights to GenAI-powered user experiences. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and customers to bring cutting-edge functionality to life.

Responsibilities

Roadmap / Ideation / Project Planning

  • Collaborate with product leadership and product owners to define and prioritize the AI/ML/GenAI roadmap across multiple product lines.
  • Translate customer needs and market trends into scalable AI features and intelligent workflows.
  • Work closely with PMP/UX/DI teams to flesh out product ideas and align an approach for larger projects.
  • Ability to create written documents that articulate your position, including: business problem, customer workflows, solution vision, and potential risks and issues for use by a cross-functional group to move forward or cancel/delay an initiative
  • Ability to define minimum and follow phases for projects to get them into the market quickly
  • Apply your technical background (programming, APIs, data warehousing, cloud) to shape technical direction and feasibility.
  • Research, document, and guide functional requirements at a macro level, so the product requirements have a holistic perspective
  • Define adoption criteria to ensure that the launched product has the desired effect
  • Define, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, from long-range planning documents to detailed user stories.

Build Phase

  • Drive use cases that include:
  • Predictive analytics for operational efficiency
  • Natural language interfaces powered by LLMs
  • AI-driven automation and workflow enhancements
  • Intelligent notifications and decision support tools
  • Agent-to-agent solutions
  • Serve as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and UX, owning the “what” and “why” while enabling teams to define the “how.”
  • Assure that sprint goals are met by deflecting lower-priority drop-in work and keeping scope creep to a minimum
  • Guide technical teams regularly during stand-ups to ensure they understand customer and business needs, and that their solution is solving for that vision
  • Be assertive enough to question if it appears that work is veering from the needed design or scope
  • Partner with UX and design teams to validate assumptions early and often using mockups, pilots, and testing.
  • Provide final VOC validation to ensure that the final product is working as designed.
  • Work with UI/UX and training to develop any adoption assistance tooling, such as product fruits
  • Set up adoption tracking metrics

Launch Phase

  • Create detailed functional summary documents for technical users, such as support, implementation, and partners, who need to understand at an atomic level how the product works, in front of and behind the screens. Further, how the product is implemented, or the impacts on implementation, as well as troubleshooting steps
  • Set up, track, and analyze adoption and performance data to refine product direction.
  • Report on progress against adoption tracking, including remediation where necessary and follow-on features where needed.
  • Where possible, track and report out value-oriented adoption metrics that can illustrate the value of the feature for new clients.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2–5 years in a technical role (e.g., development, integrations, data systems, or platform engineering).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Proven experience working closely with UI/UX teams to coordinate, align, and drive design-forward outcomes.
  • Familiarity with LLM-based applications, including prompt design, RAG pipelines, or tool use in GenAI interfaces. Ability to converse in both technical and business language around these topics
  • Experience with agentic workflows or agent-to-agent (A2A) orchestration, particularly in environments that involve autonomous decision-making, chaining, or task delegation across systems.
  • Ability to partner with data scientists and ML engineers to bring models into production and integrate them into user-facing features.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based AI tooling (e.g., Azure AI, Vertex AI, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face Transformers, etc.) is a strong plus.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business and benefit paradigms.
  • Must have a product mindset with empathy for users, and a clear sense of prioritization
  • A collaborative style that can bring together a variety of disciplines around a common business objective and successfully produce and lead an approach that results from that collaboration.
