Backend QA Engineer

Our team is working on providing a quality assurance for a set of services that support the company’s operational activities starting from the gaming platform itself, backoffices, APIs and ending with our websites. We are a team that is working towards stepbystep improvement of our job processes.

We are looking for a team member who would be able to perform manual testing of web interfaces and API methods.

We work remotely, formal meetings are kept to a minimum one standup per week, and the rest according to the work needs. Our focus is the balance between product quality and results for the business, to maintain the project’s longterm sustainability and the team’s great mood in the process.

Requirements

2 years of experience in manual testing;

Experience with web and API testing, functional testing;

Decent level of experiencebased testing;

Understanding of HTTP protocol and clientserver architecture;

Experience with browser developer tools;

Ability to create technical documentation, bug reports, and test cases;

Intermediate+ level of written English;

Desire to develop automation skills would be a plus.

Responsibilities

UIUXfunctionality testing of our web interfaces (focus on functionality);

API methods testing;

Test cases and technical documentation writing;

Reporting bugscreating tasks to development teams;

Collaboration with team members on different work aspects.

Technology stack

Jira and Confluence;

TestrailTestmo;

Postman (POSTGET requests understanding, URL structure), Swagger;

Browser developer tools (Chrome DevTools, etc);

Kibana.
