Roles & Responsibilities

  • Practical experience in vulnerability research and exploitation, especially in mobile or modern environments.
  • Hands-on reverse engineering skills, preferably in ARM, TrustZone, or hypervisors.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic primitives and their weaknesses is advantageous.
  • Experience with advanced fuzzing, offensive hardware research, or modern memory corruption mitigations is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Participate and lead projects in vulnerability research related to digital forensics.
  • Develop capabilities to extract evidence from phones and embedded devices, including hardware-backed encryption and secure boot chains.
  • Contribute to solving modern digital intelligence challenges to assist law enforcement.
  • Collaborate with a team of researchers to produce world-unique solutions for digital evidence extraction.

Position Overview:

As a talented researcher, you will be joining the industry’s leading digital intelligence Security Research Labs group. In this position you will be taking part and leading new projects in littleexplored vulnerability research territories, producing worldunique capabilities to extract evidence from phones and other embedded devices. Recent phones (from burner phones to the latest flagships) are increasingly challenging from a forensics perspective, and involve hardwarebacked encryption (FDEFBE), secure boot chains (Verified Bootdmverity), evolving hardened SELinux policies, as well as adventures in ARM TrustZone secure worlds.
