About the role

We’re looking for a Bioinformatics Support Engineer to join our Customer Experience team at Seqera. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or earlycareer bioinformatician who wants to jumpstart their career in production bioinformatics and scientific computing.

This is a support role but not your typical one. As a Bioinformatics Support Engineer, youll become a trusted technical partner to researchers working on some of the most pressing problems in health and life sciences. Youll gain firsthand exposure to the inner workings of productionscale bioinformatics pipelines, cloud and HPC environments, and cuttingedge tools like Nextflow.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll learn from experienced engineers and bioinformaticians, support a wide range of customers from nimble biotech startups to global research institutes, and contribute to projects that sit at the intersection of science and infrastructure. If you’re curious, resourceful, and eager to learn by doing, this role will accelerate your growth and open the door to a range of technical career paths.
