About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to join our IT Operations team. This role focuses on managing cloud infrastructure, supporting deployments, and ensuring system reliability within Microsoft Azure. If you're a hands-on expert in cloud technologies and passionate about cloud operations, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure in Azure (compute, storage, networking, security).
  • Handle incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Monitor and ensure system performance and uptime.
  • Support application deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with development, project, and security teams.
  • Implement strategies for backup, disaster recovery, and security.
  • Maintain documentation of the IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • IT Operations: Experience in hybrid cloud environments, incident management, and effective troubleshooting.
  • DevOps & Automation: Proficient in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform), and scripting languages (PowerShell).
  • Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cloud Shell.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, a proactive hands-on approach, and fluent English communication skills.
  • Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure services, including VMs, Kubernetes, databases, monitoring, and networking.
General Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient operations, compliance with security standards, and optimal system performance.
  • Provide user support and conduct training as necessary.
  • Manage updates, patches, and fine-tune performance.
