Role Summary


As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our clients to ensure the compliance, reliability, and efficiency of their payroll operations. You will work in a variety of contexts to address complex issues, optimize existing processes, and support the implementation or improvement of payroll systems. You will also contribute to the production of thorough analyses and the application of payroll best practices.

Key Responsibilities


Client Engagement

  • Advise clients on complex cases (retroactive payments, leaves, allowances, etc.).
  • Provide user support and contribute to training to help strengthen their autonomy.
  • Build and maintain strong, trustbased relationships with clients, acting as a key resource for payrollrelated matters.
    • Payroll Services and Projects

      • Oversee payroll processing in multisite or multijurisdictional environments.
      • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial tax and legal requirements.
      • Participate in the implementation, optimization, and automation of payroll solutions.
      • Prepare and validate regulatory reports (T4s, RL1s, etc.) and ensure data accuracy.
      • Conduct process analyses and recommend sustainable improvements.
        • Internal Development

          • Contribute to knowledge sharing and the creation of internal tools or guides related to payroll best practices.
          • Participate in strategic monitoring of payroll systems, legal requirements, and industry trends.
