We are looking to drive static QR adoption among merchants in The Philippines.
We are seeking a Merchant Onboarding Sales Executive on a 3month contract basis to spearhead the adoption of static QR in The Philippines.
The ideal candidate has 23 years of experience in POS software or the payments industry, thrives in a fastpaced environment, and excels in handson sales and merchant engagement. You will be working closely with crossfunctional teams—marketing, product, and support—to ensure a smooth and successful static QR onboarding process for merchants.
Merchant Outreach & Onboarding
Conduct doortodoor visits to potential merchants across Manila.
Identify new business opportunities and actively pitch static QR payment solutions to merchants.
Organize and execute onboarding sessions, ensuring seamless integration with HitPay’s platform.
Relationship Building & Education
Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, store owners, and frontline cashiers.
Provide handson demonstrations, training sessions, and educational materials on static QR benefits and usage.
Address merchant and cashier queries, troubleshooting issues related to payment and POS systems.
Implementation of OnGround Materials
Regularly audit and refresh marketing materials to maintain brand consistency and accurate messaging.
Market & Competitive Analysis
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and local market conditions.
Gather feedback from merchants to help improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track and measure key KPIs (e.g., number of merchants onboarded, transaction volumes, merchant satisfaction).
Provide periodic reports to management on progress, challenges, and recommended improvements.
23 years of experience in a relevant field (POS software, payments industry, fintech, or related B2B sales).
Strong knowledge of merchant payment processes, POS systems, and ideally some familiarity with static QR payments
Proven sales track record, with handson field experience highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, tangible benefits.
Proactive and selfmotivated approach, comfortable working independently and in a fastpaced environment.
Willingness to travel and work on the ground, conducting doortodoor visits across Manila
Motorcycle or another means of transport is required
Contract Duration: 3 months
Compensation: Includes a basic salary plus sales bonuses tied to performance.
