Roles & Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL in a Postgres environment.
  • At least 3 years of UNIX shell scripting experience.
  • Strong understanding of performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with AWS RDS and Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Manage and optimize Postgres databases.
  • Perform performance analysis and tuning.
  • Collaborate with application teams in an Agile environment.
  • Ensure database security and reliability.

Job description

Must have skills :
• Strong in SQL and PLpgSQL experience in a Postgres 9.x10.x UNIXbased environment (or strong in PLSQL and willingness to work with above)
• 3 or more years of UNIX shell scripting experience.
• Strong understanding of performance analysis, tuning and optimization

Highly Desired Skills:
• AWS RDS experience
• Experience working on an AgileScrum application team

Other Skills of Interest:
• Oracle Experience
• Home Warranty or Insurance Industry experience

Location: Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days
