Job Description:

Mandatory Skill
Hands on Experience on Linux and tuning parameters
  • Introduction to the command line
  • Installation of OS
  • Managing physical storage(LVM & physical partitions, file system creation etc)
  • Install and configure software components and services
  • Establish network connections and control firewall restrictions
  • Monitor and manage running processes
  • Manage and secure files and file systems
  • Administer users and groups
  • Review the system log files and journal for issues
  • Troubleshoot problems and analyze systems with Linux Insights and upgrade of OS.
  • Remotely manage systems with SSH and the Web Console
    • Hands on Experience on automation
      • Hands on Experience on Linux shell Programming
      • Installing Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform on control nodes.
      • Creating and updating inventories of managed hosts and managing connections to them.
      • Automating administration tasks with Ansible Playbooks and ad hoc commands.
      • Writing effective playbooks at scale.
      • Protecting sensitive data used by Ansible Automation Platform with Ansible Vault.
      • Reusing code and simplifying playbook development with Ansible Roles and Ansible Content Collections.
        • Experience on SAN storage
          · Hands on experience on 3PAR or any other SANFile storage .
          · Better understanding of storage architecture , hosts connectivity and performance metrics.
