Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Performs integrations, stress, load, regression and performance testing to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for stability and performance
• Provides Performance testing software systems support for respective business unit
• Coordinates and execute upon the creation of Test Cases, scripts and performance test execution
• Design, develop, and execute scripts which validate, to a high degree of confidence, test cases defined within the project’s test plan
• Perform automated loadperformance testing across multiple messaging protocols (including HTTP), focusing on overall application performance validating that application response and outputs accurately reflect business requirements
• Tracks and communicates task progress, status, and key performance metrics
• Report defects found in testing diligently, promptly, and accurately, using standard defect tracking tools
• Communicate effectively across multiple teamsexternal vendors (Operations, Project Teams, Quality Service, ), different personnel (Developers, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, ) when required
• Expected to maintain technical expertise via selfeducation in areas governing computer sciences, performanceload testing dictums, and Quality Assurance
• Design, develop, and execute performance test cases and scripts through analysis of product specifications and software requirements, mentoring other test team members

• Qualifications

  • 8+ years in the IT industry
  • Experience with performance testing tool Load Runner is a must
  • Strong load testing, development and specifically Jmeter skills and experience, able to manage multiple work streams, independent, able to communicate well in written form and produce electronic content
  • Strong technical knowledge of JMeter
  • At least 4 years of experience with HP LoadRunner using protocols Citrix, RDP, Windows Socket (Winsock), and Performance testing Mobile Technologies, and database
  • Experience developing your own testing tools to facilitate performance testing is a major plus
  • Ability to work as part of a selfdirected Agile team
  • Provide support and mentoring to distributed project teams on performance activities
