Job Description

We are looking for a Performance Test Lead (MF) to work remotely, with the remote possibility of travelling occasionally.

The candidate must be resident in Portugal.

• Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage performance testing activities across multiple teams and projects.
• Develop performance testing frameworks using JMeter DSL and integrate them with CICD pipelines.
• Design and execute performance, scalability, and load tests for applications and infrastructure.
• Monitor application performance using Grafana, Prometheus, and InfluxDB, identifying bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure performance is embedded in the SDLC.
• Analyze performance metrics and generate comprehensive reports to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
• Mentor junior team members and build performance engineering capabilities within the organization.
• Ensure continuous improvement of performance testing and monitoring processes and tools.
• Good communication skills (english), proactiveselfautonomous.

• Qualifications

  • Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing.
  • Strong expertise in JMeter DSL for creating and automating performance tests.
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and InfluxDB for monitoring and visualization.
  • Proficiency in Java for developing performance scripts and integrating with testing frameworks.
  • Handson experience with CICD tools and integrating performance tests into pipelines.
  • Deep understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices (load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret performance metrics and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloudbased performance testing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
