Job Title: Product Owner ICFP (Integrated Curriculum & Financial Planning)

Salary: £45,000 £50,000 p.a.

Role Description
We’re looking for a proactive and detailoriented Product Owner to join our dynamic product team. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between customer needs and our development team, ensuring we deliver highimpact, highquality solutions. You’ll report into the PO for the Planner family of Products and play a key role in shaping our roadmap, from managing a team of testers to driving product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Management

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritize product requirements.
• Translate requirements into clear user stories with welldefined acceptance criteria.
• Ensure alignment and shared understanding across development teams.
  

• 2. Product Development

  • Partner with developers and UX Designers to deliver features and enhancements on time and to specification.
  • Maintain and manage the development backlog and sprint planning.
  • Monitor progress and ensure agile processes are followed.
    

  • 3. Quality Assurance Leadership

    • Lead and support a team of software testers.
    • Define testing standards and provide feedback to improve QA outcomes.
    • Ensure rigorous testing and highquality product releases.

    • 4. Product Strategy & Roadmap

      • Align product backlog with strategic goals and customer needs.
      • Collaborate with the Head of Product to define and maintain the product roadmap.

      • 5. Crossfunctional Collaboration

        • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Implementation, and Support teams.
        • Champion a collaborative, userfocused culture across the organisation.

        • Required Qualifications

          • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
          • 4+ years in a Product Owner or Product Management role.
          • Experience with school MIS software (ideally timetabling or curriculum management).
          • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
          • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
          • Familiarity with AgileScrum methodologies.
          • Comfortable working in a fastpaced, iterative environment.

          • Preferred Qualifications

            • Experience in B2B SaaS environments.
            • Background in EdTech or education systems.
            • Product OwnerManager qualifications
            • Accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, or equivalent).
