We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Intern to assist in the development and refinement of Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) scorecards and dashboards for various Funds managed by SIMA. This role will provide hands-on experience in sustainability practices, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building.
Key Responsibilities
As an ESMS Intern, you will support the enhancement of our ESMS framework, ensuring alignment with global norms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and refinement of ESMS scorecards and dashboards.
- Assisting in data collection, analysis, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Contributing to the preparation of training sessions and capacity-building efforts.
- Support drafting prototypes of ESMS scorecards and dashboards.
- Preparing reports summarizing stakeholder engagement and benchmarking insights.
- Assist in developing training materials and preparing a final progress report summarizing key achievements.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Finance or related field. Students in their final year are also encouraged to apply with a CGPA of at least 3.0.
- Academic background in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
