DevOps Enabler & Co is moving into the next phase of expansion and to achieve this we are looking for an enthusiastic Senior DevOps Engineer for our Professional Services.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
You will be customerfacing and will entail liaising with customers to analyze the current systems, and plan and deliver projects.
Responsible for the deployment and monitoring of platform infrastructure, apps, and services in multiple cloud environments.
Responsible for the design of a deployment based on components available from the development
Contributes to the organization and operation of multiple deployment pipelines, ensuring high availability of Digital Service Portfolio across various regions and deployments as per appropriate SLA.
Coordinates with different functions, not limited to development, application engineering, operations, regional support, etc.
The role is varied in scope, and technology and can entail the development of innovative solutions in the cloud, delivering cloud migration projects, and supporting development teams with DevOps technologies (CICD pipelines, config management, etc.)
Provide effective knowledge transfer and upskilling to relevant customer personnel to ensure an appropriate level of future selfsufficiency.
Coordinate closely with the Development & DevOps team to roll out upgrades & patches & Support the team for issue management & Resolution.
Support the development, platform & infrastructure teams to optimize resource consumption & usage subject to KPI.
Help build the operations function, process, and workflow.
Drive the completion of work, as captured in help desk tickets, and defined in scrum sprints.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of automation and RPA is desirable
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP and Oracle
Deep Knowledge on DevOps tools like Docker, terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Prom tail, Loki, Grafana and OpenShift
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
The candidate should have a fulltime Bachelors in Engineering (IT, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Electronics etc.) from a reputed institute.
Demonstrated Work experience of 35 years on web technology projects for a multinational company or division of a large corporation. 23 completed digital projects, preferably in different roles.
Good cloud technology skills within Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud, etc.
Working knowledge of bestpractice deployment pipeline organization including segmentation between different environments.
Clear understanding of Devops, Cloud technologies and scripting languages like Python, and deployment scripts like Ansible, Terraform and Helm charts
Customerfacing experience as part of the project life cycle (one or more touch points).
Proven ability to drive projects, within distributed teams (across geographies), to deliver outcomes.
Ability to lead the team technically and also be IC
Working Conditions: Primarily in an office environment in Bangalore. Will be expected to travel as needed to customer location.
Additional Accountabilities: Any other functions added by the management from time to time.
