Opportunity:


Virtual Service Operations is searching for highly motivated and career-driven individuals to join our growing team as IT Helpdesk Security Analyst in Richardson, TX. In this role you will work as part of a team to administrate the security aspects of an enterprise environment. 

  

Responsibilities of the IT Help Desk Security Analyst:


? Initial point of contact for users via telephone, email, face-2-face to provide technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems and/or applications
? Assist with navigating around application menus, may be required to remote into the user's computer
? Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, working with remote employees on a VPN
? Develop and sustain an effective and productive user relationship, making them and their needs a primary focus
? Offer alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of going the extra mile to resolve issues
? Escalate complex problems to the L2/L3 staff 


Qualifications:


? Familiarity with PKI certificates and RSA authentication support
? Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords
? Previous computer technical support preferred
? Strong knowledge of Network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, locating IP or TCP/IP addresses, VPN software, supporting remote users
? Proficient with troubleshooting all Windows Operating systems
? Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email issues
? Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
? Outstanding customer skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot and resolve customer's issues
? Current CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE or Security+ CE certifications a plus 

Requirements
  • Must be within driving distance of Richardson, TX and willing to work onsite 2 days a week 
  • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
