We’re looking for a QA Engineer who enjoys both manual and automated testing. You’ll test new features, write test plans, build automated tests, and help shape our QA tooling. If you’re detail-oriented, love breaking things (in a good way), and want to help us deliver reliable software, we’d love to work with you.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive manual testing of the application by exploring features and identifying bugs or inconsistencies
- Design, maintain, and execute test plans for new and existing features
- Develop and manage automated tests, contributing to continuous integration and deployment workflows
- Use and evaluate testing tools like Cypress (frontend) and Django testing frameworks (backend); explore and propose new tools and processes as needed
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to identify edge cases and potential quality risks early in the development cycle
- Provide actionable feedback and suggest QA best practices to improve product reliability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in manual and automated testing of web applications
- Familiarity with frontend and backend testing tools, particularly Cypress and Django testing
- Comfortable writing and maintaining test scripts across various platforms
- Proactive about improving QA processes and introducing new tools or frameworks
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Experience with or openness to learning React, Django, Supabase, and Next.js
