We are looking for a Communications Systems Engineer to provide design support on major transit projects. The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, a background in rail transit and communications systems, and a commitment to delivering highquality work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Work within a team to provide communications systems engineering for rail transit projects involving:
- Radio systems
- Display systems
- Public address systems
- Voice over IP telephone networks
- Fire telephone systems
- Emergency telephone systems
- Fiber optic networks including WDM
- CCTV
- Intrusion detection systems.
- - Prepare plans and specifications.
  - Prepare design calculations.
  - Prepare design reports.
  - Qualifications and Experience:
    
    Minimum of 10+ years of related experience
    Knowledge of the principles of communications systems
    Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is desired
    Familiarity with rail transit industry standards, practices, and regulations
    EngineerinTraining or Professional Engineering registration (preferred)
    Experience in design or construction of rail transit systems (preferred)
    A skilled oral and written communicator
    Proficient in MS Office applications
    Able to work in a cooperative team environment.
    Motivated to learn and grow within a cooperative environment.
