Senior Backend Engineer

• Lead the design and development of backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Create and maintain APIs optimized for handling large data volumes with high efficiency.
• Implement advanced SQL queries and ensure performance tuning for database interactions.
• Maintain rigorous data security measures and robust authenticationauthorization protocols.
• Develop automated tests (unit, integration, and data validation) to ensure software reliability.
• Build and manage CICD pipelines and oversee containerized deployments via Kubernetes.
• Partner with crossfunctional teams including frontend and product to deliver endtoend solutions.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, facilitating technical discussions and code reviews.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, diagnosing and resolving production issues.

• Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend service development.
  • Expertise in RESTful API design and optimization for large datasets.
  • Advanced SQL skills including query optimization and data modeling.
  • Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency in container orchestration and deployment using Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of authentication and security standards including OAuth2 and JWT.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.
  • Exposure to largescale analytics platforms or realtime reporting systems.
