Job description

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Milk Moovement is building a worldclass team focused on getting the right milk to the right place at the right time.

Our growing herd of employees is driven to provide our clients with the data they need to make critical decisions that impact their operations and ultimately your favourite dairy products.

Who is Milk Moovement you might ask? We are a young VCbacked company with humble roots and massive ambitions to disrupt the dairy supply chain. We think differently, act nimbly, and always leave things better than we found them.

Were expanding our team to further our mission. Find us out on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn (@milkmoovement), and our home page to learn more or hit “apply” below!

THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Product Manager (Maternity Leave Contract) to join our herd! This 15 month contract will focus on maintaining and innovating critical areas of our platform that support some of the most complex financial and quality segments in the dairy supply chain.

You’ll lead the charge on four core product areas: Patronage, Dairy Taxes, Milk Pooling, and Lab Quality (Results). You’ll work closely with a crossfunctional team of developers, ensuring our clients have the tools they need to navigate highstakes seasons like tax reporting while continuing to scale and improve the experience across markets.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Own the product vision and roadmap for patronage, dairy tax, milk pooling, and lab quality solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to ship impactful updates and new features.
• Engage with clients to conduct discovery and uncover pain points and deliver elegant, scalable solutions—especially during the intense January tax season.
Conduct user research, prioritize feedback, and translate insights into clear, actionable product requirements.
Prepare product strategy documents, product requirement documents, and rapid prototypes to convey vision and ideas to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive sprint planning, retrospectives, and product reviews, ensuring that teams are aligned and energized.
• Monitor KPIs to assess performance and identify areas of opportunity.
• Advocate for product quality and client experience across everything you do.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Milk Moovement seeks to have a diverse, inclusive, teamoriented, and curiosity driven herd. Our product team lives up to our core values, and we expect you will be excited to do so as well. You will likely have had 2+ years of product management experience leading the endtoend creation of a product or service at a leading or highgrowth technology company, but working in the dairy industry is not required! We will teach you all there is to know about the industry beginning with our dairy 101 course. It is definitely more complicated than you think and that is why we do what we do!

WHAT ELSE
• Have 2+ years of experience in a product management role, ideally in SaaS or B2B software.
• Can confidently lead a team of developers through ideation, execution, and iteration.
• Understand the importance of operational excellence and data accuracy in fintech, agriculture, or quality assurance contexts.
• Are detailoriented, communicative, and comfortable with tools like Jira, Productboard, and Confluence.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with a datainformed approach to decisionmaking.
• Comfortable with numbers and conducting investigation, reconciliation and analysis using Excel and SQL.
• Strong customercentric mindset, with a passion for delivering products that make a difference in the lives of our users.
• Enough technical knowhow to talk with engineers about technical considerations that impact a product and a desire to learn what you don’t know to help drive decisionmaking.
• Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas, updates, and direction to internal stakeholders.
• Experience with using AI and being comfortable with learning and embracing new tools and processes.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment that is constantly evolving.

BONUS POINTS:
• Have formal training in product management (e.g., School of Product or similar).
• Have worked in the dairyagricultural tech sector (but not required—we’ll teach you the dairy ropes!).
• Have experience managing seasonal products where client expectations and timelines shift dramatically.
