Job description

This is a remote position.

We are representing a growing EPC contractor and ICP specialising in energy infrastructure and renewable projects across the UK – including Solar, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), Heavy Industrial, and Carbon Capture developments.

They’re currently looking to add a Tendering Engineer to support the delivery of accurate and competitive tender submissions for largescale energy projects ranging from LV up to 400kV.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Assist in reviewing technical tender documentation (specs, drawings, BOQs, contracts etc.)
✔ Support in producing cost estimates using industry tools such as Bluebeam or Causeway
✔ Coordinate supplier and subcontractor enquiries and analyse quotations
✔ Work closely with internal teams and clients to meet submission deadlines
✔ Contribute to tender clarifications and launch activities
✔ Help prepare documentation for handovers to project delivery teams
✔ Provide data for cost reporting and margin monitoring



Requirements
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
✔ 1–3 years’ experience in estimating or tendering within energy or construction
✔ Degree in engineering, quantity surveying, or similar field
✔ Familiarity with estimating software (Bluebeam, Causeway, or similar)
✔ Good understanding of contract forms like JCT, FIDIC, NEC
✔ Excellent numeracy, communication, and organisational skills
✔ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities


Salary:

Up to £70K
