Senior Front-end Developer

Level: Mid/Senior

Help scale FL3XX globally with an international Business Aviation SaaS team in Vienna and 20 other locations.

This position is based in Vienna, Austria or Remote.

What your focus will be:

• Development of front-end part of the application.
  
• Designing and Engineering the best possible and most effective solution of a given feature.
  
• Improving implemented features based on collected feedback.
  
• Picking the best possible technology to reach maximum productivity.
  
• Being in a constant feedback loop with the back-end team.

What you'll do: Month 0 to Month 3

• Get familiar with the project and domain knowledge
  
• Participate in bug fixing of existing features
  
• Do minor front-end UI/UX improvements
  

Month 4 to Month 6

• Work on feature implementation under the supervision of a lead engineer
  
• Be able to make independent technical decisions and spot inconsistencies in requirements
  
• Start working on the migration of modules of AngularJs application to Angular
  

Month 7 onward:

• Take ownership of technical decisions
  
• Participate in defining the architecture of the Angular application
  
• Be able to optimize and refactor existing application modules based on the feedback of the product team
  
• Troubleshoot and fix complex issues
  
• Implement new functionality

Ideally, you'll have solid experience in:

• Deep knowledge of JavaScript and related modern technologies in web development. Includes deep understanding of - the DOM, JSON, OOP JavaScript, CORS and common JavaScript libraries.
  
• Knowledge of AngularJs and Angular framework.
  
• Proficient in understanding web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
  
• Experience in RestAPI and WebSocket integrations is a plus.
  
• Experience in unit testing with JavaScript is a plus.
  
• Experience with CI/CD is an advantage.
  
• English fluency, other languages are useful.
  
• Availability beyond standard office hours.
  
• Knowledge or interest in aviation is a plus.
